A visit to the offices of Minera IRL

Today and for the second time, your author this morning visited the offices of Minera IRL (MIRL.cse) in Lima with a view to either having or arranging a formal meeting with the company. However, there was nobody at the office in an executive role to receive me and when attempting to contact Susan Gabbie, Pedro Valdez, Steve Ngatai and CEO Diego Benavides via mail, telephone and WhatsApp, in order to arrange a date and time for the meeting, all my attempts were left unanswered. One wonders why.

What a way to treat a shareholder! Stay tuned folks, this one is only just getting started.

As a long term shareholder (since Courtney’s days) I have supported this co through thick and thin, but the future has never been so bleak. It is of my opinion that Diego has no other intention than to run irl into bankruptcy while collecting his outrageous salary. When irl goes under, he retires. Unless he’s an even bigger see you next Tuesday and sells out for a pittance just before chapter 11 for an extra change of control payola. No regard for staff or sharehodlers.

Nice to see that shareholders are getting such good value for the money we’re paying these clowns. Thanks for the updates.

“one wonders why” -> indeed, why? They have to know what is going to happen If they dont.
IMO it once again comes down to the question: what can we shareholders do?

John, this is why we have to make the effort now. MIRL is not D.O.A., there’s still plenty of opportunity to improve shareholder value here. But time will run out eventually so now is the time to act and on that, we 100% agree. I’ve seen a lot of defeatism among shareholders recently and it’s totally misplaced, this company can still deliver a win and of that i am sure. But changes need to happen immediately and the company simply doesn’t want to face reality.

I urge all shareholders to write, call or whatever, this executive team is accountable to its shareholders and must inform them correctly. It’s by no means too late, not DOA.

IR people are useless. CEO/management, should they choose, can stonewall you until the end of days.

You want results? Lean on the board members – the ‘independent’ ones are the easiest to turn but it will take some work.
