It’s the little things that count, the windows that allow a glimpse on how a company really thinks. Our example today is Cartier Resources (ECR.v), so uber-keen to tell the world in March about its resource update via News Release, via social media, via $10k-per-month paid-pump coverage. The target audience for the Chimo resource hype was crystal clear too, the retail Twitter morons needed gold dust and sequins thrown in their eyes, so ECR stretched and manipulated its resource data until it got to a dubious-looking 2m oz under 43-101.
However, when the serious stuff happens ECR doesn’t say a word to the world. This morning, Cartier filed the 43-101 on Chimo to SEDAR and sure enough, no accompanying NR or indication to the general market that solid, data-driven information on Chimo is now available, rather than the previous marketing puffery. And that’s ECR, shouting from the rooftops to attract amateurs while keeping quiet about real info. Another junior mining company, pretending it’s an honest entity.

I have no idea on what is happening with ECR as I gave up on it long ago …They kept yaking about how much shareholders would benefit from selling Chimo ..However, nobody could how shareholders would benefit if company officers were to control proceeds from selling part of the company …Who would benefit , them of the peon retailers ?

Companies do file first and then publish their news releases about having filed something. Making fuss about nothing, really. If you want to make a point about Cartier, then it should be lowering the cut-off, rendering the remaining grade hardly economic.
