Colombia’s exports, whacked by the oil price drop

Back in December 2014 we predicted that “Colombia’s trade balance is not going to enjoy the drop in the oil price” and stuck the long-term chart of Colombia’s export mix up there to show how dependent the country had become on its exports of hydrocarbons to the world. Well here we are close on six months later, the first couple of months’ worth of figures for 2015 have been collated by the country’s central bank and…
