The Chinese New Year is just three and a bit weeks away (Jan 28th this time around) and we can already see its shadow in the SHFE copper inventory levels:
Shooting up already, 70k+ from the recent lows. Recall that in last year’s re-stocking period, SHFE inventories reached almost 400k.
