And nothing to do with Covid, either. The transport strike that started in Peru a few days ago got bigger and somewhat violent over the course of the last 24 hours, with the tipping point being the way it’s now affecting the capital city. However, the decision tonight by President Hat to impose a curfew on the Lima/Callao conurbation today, Tuesday April 5th, is way too heavy-handed and smacks of overkill. It’s the type of decision made by a Head of State who doesn’t know how to control a classroom, let alone a country. Over at the weekly we’ve been counting down the days until this inept fool either resigns or is impeached out of office, the end is getting nearer.
Leftists bashing leftists. Hilarious.
If only it were that straightforward. Peru’s mess stopped being a Lefty/Righty story months ago.
