Have you tried to buy any real Silver lately? ….. go buy or price a few Silver Maples or Eagles and compare them to their prices a year ago …. Paper Silver and Real Silver have 2 very different prices
No, I haven’t tried to buy any real silver lately. If i wanted to trade silver, there’s SLV and if I wanted to own a stack of physical silver coins for their metal value, I wouldn’t be smart enough to have made a living selling a newsletter on junior mining for the last 12 years. Don’t get me wrong, if people want to collect shiny coins that’s fine by me, they’re pretty, some are real collectables and are worse addictions than buying silver coinage, but the number of people truly interested in stacking physical silver for its intrinsic value is tiny and what’s more, they tend to be total nutjobs. There’s no trade worth anyone’s salt in Ag physical; the futures market exists for a reason, SLV is a popular vehicle for a reason. Books on how to create your own nuclear bunker for the upcoming armageddon also exist, but it doesn’t mean they’re going to make the NYT best-seller’s list.
