Cerro de Pasco Resources (CDPR.cse) and The IKN First Law of Mining NRs

“The IKN First Law of Mining News Releases”

Considering that anything contained in a mining news release is presented in the best possible way for the company in question, any piece of information contained in a NR that comes across in any way negative means the real news and/or events behind it must be very, very bad indeed.”

And now your link to the Cerro de Pasco Resources (CDPR.cse) NR of today, which used 1,041 words to tell us that it hasn’t come to any sort of agreement with its partners in 2020, despite multiple efforts and extended time windows trying to do so. The company embedded the only real news of the NR in a raft of buff and spiel that explains all the good things they’ve done, but when it comes to the reasons why they have failed miserably to get any real work done this year all they have is a Covid-19 excuse, which is lame as lame can be considering how much business is getting done in Peru now. What are the reasons for the failure to come to an agreement? if CDPR were as forward with that information as it was with all the pumpy blather, we on the outside would be able to make an informed decision on the stock instead of guessing and assuming they are going to do the same amount of nothing in 2021. Covid-19, yeah right…
