Today’s results of the monthly Ipsos/Apoyo approval rating for Ollanta Humala sees him drop to 45%, the lowest since becoming President. It also fits in with the Datum (43%) and CPI (45.7%) polls published yesterday that gave similar numbers.
Here’s El Comercio with a report on the poll and to pick out just one sub-datapoint, the fact that his highest approval rating was gained from the socioeconomic A group (59%) is its own story.
It’s fair at this point to give the bigger picture some context and compare Humala’s 40s and 50s with previous President Alan García’s 20s and 30s. Then again, it’s still early days for Ollanta.
