If you just looked at the chart for new daily confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Peru, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the worst is over:
Sadly not the case, the worst is yet to come and the subterfuge shows up here:
In a country of over 30m people, they are doing around 25,000 tests a day and over the last week, those have shown a 17% positive rate. In other words, Peru has stopped caring and that shows in the hardest dataset to fake, deaths per day:
It should peak some time in the next three weeks, they say. Mind you, they said that at the end of April as well.
