This pablum just arrived in my inbox:
Seeing the words “Sprott” and “Covid” together in one place reminds the reader of just one thing, that the blowhard Eric Sprott has never ceased to propagate the dangerous lie about Covid-19 being man-made. These peddlers of fake news will never stop and as proven this year, Eric Sprott doesn’t give a tinker’s cuss about you or your health, all he wants is your money. A liar, a hypocrite and a pathetic blowhard, Eric Sprott should be thoroughly ashamed of himself and what his lies are now doing to Canada.
Havent heard a peep from Eric in a month or so… Hopefully he is well.
The email is from the company that bears his name but from which he’s retired. I doubt he had anything to do with it. And why rant because he said the virus was man-made? Is the science “settled”? It can be politicized when most research money comes from the state. I don’t know if that’s the case here, but look at economics papers: a vast echo chamber. But no, China couldn’t possibly have been doing naughty things in their lab and had an accident. There’s a treaty!
Remember all those strange videos coming out of China in the early days of the big scare? Welding people shut into their homes, people dying in the streets, twitching on gurneys. High theater to scare those in the West to shut down their economies as China opened up. Effective use of one aspect of the Assassin’s Mace. Pretty effective, I’ll give them that. Never thought the citizens of this country would be such utter cowards in the face of a virus with 99.98% recovery rate.
Whether it’s man-made or not, COVID did have some magical power to essentially eliminate the regular flu from the world. Truly fascinating.

If the end result is honesty, then that is all I care to get from you, and the fascinating information you share. I loved your newsletter. I used to subscribe, but found that investing in gold stocks brings endless sorrow. I come here for my fix.

Insisting one way or the other, man made or not, kind of reminds me of the religious zealots and the militant athiests, each proclaiming the other side are idiots, when in fact, nobody really knows or can know.
