The Friday OT: Line Riders does Beethoven’s 5th

Dear nice people who kindly come over to this humble corner of cyberspace on a regular basis, you just gotta see this. My eldest went “hey look at this” a few days ago and that was it, I’ve watched this visual take on the Beethoven’s 5th (first movement, edited) it four times already. Impossible not to love this show, but perhaps the greatest thing is how it brings extra appreciation of the genius of LVB. It’s not the world’s most recognized four music notes for nothing.

Here’s what the creator of this little piece of genius wrote under the video:

“I spent over 3 months synchronizing a line rider track to Beethoven’s
5th drawing everything by hand.

Any time a character leaves the screen they are being directed by unseen
lines to the next location.

This is not the full length of the piece. I spliced together parts to
make it possible for me to finish the project in a practical amount of
time. I don’t think my sanity could handle 3 more months of this song.

YouTube post processing seems to create a few millisecond audio delay if
you are watching on the mobile YouTube app. If you notice this,
watching the video in any web browser won’t have this problem.”

You are going to enjoy this. Link here.
