The Mars One scam falls apart

Back in 2014 it was obviously a scam and, in a rare sidetrack from mining companies because it was too obvious to the seasoned junior-watcher, this humble corner of cyberspace called it exactly that. So even though it took four and a half years from that date, the news circulating on the internetwebpipes this morning that Mars One, the company that would colonize Mars by selling t-shirts and TV rights, has filed for bankruptcy comes as little surprise. Because “oh all your money has gone…sorry!” is exactly what scamsters do.
