The Resource Maven joins the frontrunning scam business model

x

This
is the only time you will hear about a financing opportunity of this
sort through the Maven Letter. I am nearly ready to launch Maven Alerts,
a service that will be dedicated to financing opportunities and
time-sensitive actionable advice.

Don’t worry: the Maven Letter will remain my flagship publication. I’m launching Maven Alerts for two reasons:

  1. Engaged resource investors deserve better access to financing opportunities. Financings
are often the best way to buy stock, either because the price is
discounted or because you get a warrant (or both, in this case).
Financings also allow you to buy a chunk of stock in one go,
establishing a nice position without bidding yourself out of the market
or not getting as much as you wanted because of limited liquidity. The
problem is that good financing opportunities get gobbled up, with stock
insiders, resource funds, and market players buying up entire raises
before they are even announced. As a result, retail investors get left
out. With Maven Alerts I will recommend good financing opportunities –
and I will secure allocations for Maven subscribers.
  2. Some
recommendations are very time sensitive – if action is not taken
immediately the opportunity disappears. These opportunities are not
suitable for the Maven Letter, as many subscribers do not read the
letter right away and including short-fuse situations just means they
    miss out.
The Alert service will be geared towards investors interested in act-now advice.

I’m
planning to launch before the end of the year, but if you subscribe now
the clock will not start on your paid year until the first issue indeed
appears! The sticker price is $5,000 but I’m offering subscribers 50%
off, which means Maven Alerts is available for $2,500 for a short time.
