On the subject of drugs, can somebody explain to me how the world’s biggest consumer of stupifying materials can give tacit approval for the consumption of illegal merchandise inside its own borders, sponsor the country with the largest cocaine production in the world and praise its ongoing “war on drugs” and then vilify a country that’s used as a simple transport corridor between the producer and the demander? Look, I don’t mind whether you’re of the “death sentence ’em all” side or the “legalize it all” side…but you can’t have it both ways, surely.

Fortuna Silver (FVI.v) up 6.3% at $1.69 and ending the week in fine style. Good volumes, too. Best of breed.

Fronteer (FRG) down 0.7% at U$4.19 and showing the diference betwen the larger juniors getting caught in the broad market downdraft and the smaller ones that can avoid the general negativity today.

Lumina Copper Corp (LCC.v) up 9.1% at $1.20 and on good volumes. The world got flashed the Beaty smile over at Blue Sky Uranium today but this one should be on your radar, too.

Vena Resources (VEM.to) down 4.2% at $0.345. This stock will be a feature on the next couple of IKN Weeklies. Subscribers will know more as from this Sunday.
