I’ve spent about half an hour this morning test-running Wolfram Alpha, a new search engine for the interwebnetpipes, which could stretch into six hours if I’m not careful. It has its official launch tomorrow but the site is up and working right now.
For me it’s not a direct challenge to Google. It’s different and user-friendly and fun and interesting, especially for the numbers wonks among us (my hand is raised). Check it out and try it out. Here’s the link to the page.
